On April 15, 1832, the painter, author and picture-story artist Wilhelm Busch was born in this village, which was of great importance to him all his life. Only interrupted by a few trips, Wilhelm Busch spent most of his life in this charming region. Almost all of his famous picture stories were made here, but also numerous oil paintings and hand drawings based on motifs from nature. Go in search of traces to the places around Wiedensahl, which were for the painter and draftsman Busch motif and inspiration. They not only get to know the ways in which he walked, but also the houses in which he lived. The comparison between Busch's depictions and today's views shows the great changes as well as what has been preserved over time.
